Cerner IView Dynamic Group/ClinDoc Consultant, Global Healthcare IT – (August 2010 – present) Client – Central Washington Hospital, Wanatchee, WA Facilitated design and build of dynamic groups within Iview. Active participant in Event Set Hierarchy as it relates to IView. Assisted with post go-live change management request queues on a daily basis, collaborating with clinical staff as to best work flow processes and/or system build ensured, and all interdisciplinary “touch points” identified. These same requests also involved troubleshooting and build/rebuild of Iview, PowerOrders, PowerPlans and Powerforms. Collaborated with education/training team, developing and creating documentation and screenshots for clinical staff and the EMR Update Newsletter.
Cerner IView Dynamic Group/ClinDoc Consultant, Morgan Hunter Healthcare – (May 2009 – August 2010) Client – Trinity Healthcare Services, Farmington Hills, MI Design and build of dynamic groups per Cerner Start Content, allowing for the removal of Chest Tubes, Surgical Drains and Tubes, and Gastric/Enteral Feeding Tube powerforms, as part of Nursing Bundle II Implementation. Successful implementation over past weekend, which included I&O2G, Normalized Rate, multiple new views/bands within Iview, removal of 15 powerforms.
IView/I&O2G Consultant/Team Lead, Morgan Hunter Healthcare – (October 2009 – May 2010). Client – Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville, VA Successful completion of consulting assignment involving review of DTAs and reorganization within hierarchy, removal of 34 powerforms and sections, Dynamic Group design and build, Activity View design and build, as well as assisted with the management of Clinical IT staff members from start of project (from “Proof of Concept” through Implementation). Change control processing of all clinical documentation of the PowerChart application (.18 code level). Collaborated with nursing transformation team to promote best practice and current to future workflow options as well as integration between Women’s Services, SurgiNet, and FirstNet.
